    Router log showing "strange" entries

Not sure where this should be posted, but I will try here. ... Every time I visit certain websites, and click on anything on those pages, my router log shows CHAT ICQ login attempt -2 ... I have ICQ and most IM services blocked.

The router is a CISCO RVS4000.

    Browser is FF 17.0.1

Any ideas why clicking on a web link should trigger an ICQ login attempt. Not all websites. Haven't worked out all the patterns yet, but I know some don't trigger that line in the router log.

I'm puzzled. So if anyone has an idea, I would be grateful.

Also, I now find that blocking ICQ on the router, also stops file downloads on certain websites in addition to displaying the same message on the log:

    CHAT ICQ login attempt -2

This all might be helped if CISCO posted a new signature file for the IPS function. The newest one is a year old. Frustrating.
