Taking a variable break based on change in naes over an entire column
I can get examples of how to take a break IFBLANK, but I want to take a subtotal in another column, based on a change in name.
How do I do that. Theexamples all use constants (e.g. B1).
Here's my PDL way of designing the formula:
IF( ($B n+1) NOT EQUAL TO $B N), SUM the numbers in Col. F from the LAST time a break was taken to this cell and print in Col. G.
That means that last cell's position must be recorded somewhere.
So when thecontents of Col. B change, take a subtotal on the contents of Col F, based on the interval between Jack 3and Jill 2.
But all of this must be couched in a variable term based on which row we're on.

Perhaps something like this in G2:
Then copy it down the column.
