    Adobe Acrobat Icon Display

Until recently the desktop icons displayed for all Adobe Acrobat PDF documents was the standard Adobe 'A' with the red PDF label.

Now PDF documents are displayed randomly as either this icon or as a thumbnail. It does not seem to matter whether the document was created locally or elsewhere.

I would prefer all documents to display as the Adobe icon.

Does anybody have any suggestions how this might be achieved.

    TIA

You could try rebuilding the icon cache:

    Thanks jwitalka.

Unfortunately, the icon cache rebuild has no effect on the display of icons for PDF files - some are displayed as the Adobe icon and some are displayed as thumbnails.
