    Exclamation Word 2010 mail merge failed with 'A field calculation error occurred'

    Hi,

    I have a mailmerge issue. In the attachments in this post you find a word file and an excel sheet. The word file contains mail merge fields. Viewing the document, browsing through the preview records and even executing the merge has the desired effects: members that need to be skipped are skipped, details about their invoice are calculated propery, but every result contains field calculation errors. I've pinpointed the fields that cause the error in de document (3 of them, red text). Even with only the first field present the error occurs. What am I doing wrong here?

    Try the following field constructions in place of the ones giving the error:
    {={MERGEFIELD comp} \# "'Competitie €'0.00;;"}
    {={MERGEFIELD Adres_korting}*5 \# "'Gezinskorting €'0.00;;"}
    {={MERGEFIELD Deeljaarkorting} \# "'Deeljaarkorting €'0.00;;"}
    (with tabs before the '€')
    Cheers,
