Post Internet Explorer 10 Crashes on Load (Possible Fix) - After Win7 - 8 Upgrad

After trying everything - resetting, deleting, disabling add-ons and reinstalling via Windows Features

My Problem was caused by an IMesh Toolbar

    How I Discovered The Cause.

    www.sysinternals.com - Process Monitor

Set Filter to Process Name - IS NOT - iexplore.exe - then exclude

    Clear Display - (Edit menu)

Run Internet explorer and check the log - I found these

    7:57:27.0666462 PM iexplore.exe 9572 FASTIO_NETWORK_QUERY_OPEN C:\Program Files (x86)\iMesh Applications\MediaBar\Datamngr\x64\datamngr.dll FAST IO DISALLOWED

    7:57:27.0671933 PM iexplore.exe 9572 FASTIO_ACQUIRE_FOR_SECTION_SYNCHRONIZATION C:\Program Files (x86)\iMesh Applications\MediaBar\Datamngr\x64\datamngr.dll FILE LOCKED WITH ONLY READERS SyncType: SyncTypeCreateSection, PageProtection:

    7:57:27.0741167 PM iexplore.exe 9572 FASTIO_NETWORK_QUERY_OPEN C:\Program Files (x86)\iMesh Applications\MediaBar\Datamngr\x64\IEBHO.dll FAST IO DISALLOWED

    7:57:27.0746126 PM iexplore.exe 9572 FASTIO_ACQUIRE_FOR_SECTION_SYNCHRONIZATION C:\Program Files (x86)\iMesh Applications\MediaBar\Datamngr\x64\IEBHO.dll FILE LOCKED WITH ONLY READERS SyncType: SyncTypeCreateSection, PageProtection:

I just uninstalled the bar and it worked fine.
    Hope this helps.

    First, welcome to the Lounge.

Thanks for posting your fix. Many of these add-on toolbars are unnecessary and in many cases, installed without our knowledge.
