Receiving Mail on an Ad Hoc Basis

I have four email accounts set up on Outlook. One of the mail accounts that I have set up is to retrieve mail from the office. I would like to set this up in such I manner so as to retrieve mail on an ad hoc basis i.e only when required as it is not required daily. When I go on leave I would like to retieve my mails a few days bwfore getting back to the office

Your assistance in this regard is most appreciated

    Have a look here

    Send/Receive Groups

ETA: That is for Outlook 2007, in Outlook 2010 (2013?) you can find the settings in the Send/Receive tab.

Dude, you nailed it. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, since I have one primary and two secondary email addresses. But it was low on my list.

It took about 2 minutes to get everything totally set up. Now my primary email checks every minute, and the other two every 30 minutes.

    Thanks for the info!
