    Run in background

When I shutdown I always get the warning, Windows Cannot Shut Down because of something running in background. But it shuts down immediately with no problems. Anybody else get this warning.

Once in a while but I hardly ever shut down either. Your situation just sounds like something is not quite responding fast enough to the shutdown call so you get the message even as whatever it is is exiting.
I'm more apt to get a laundry list of programs that haven't shut down yet and ask me if I want to force a restart or shutdown; they all seem to eventually catch up and exit normally with the exception of Returnil running in virtual mode.

I don't get a list, actually it's pops on and off before I can even read the whole thing. I did not think it was a problem but just wanted to check it out.
