User Name And Password Problem At Startup

When I boot Windows 8 it starts with a blue welcome screen showing my name, but then says wrong user name or password and asks me to try again. I then have to input my email address as the user name and Windows Live ID as the password, after which the screen turns green and the start screen appears. How can I stop the wrong user name or password window appearing?

Change your user type to normal user. (or maybe logon type - I'm booted into Windows 7 at the moment.)

-Edit- Okay, I'm booted into Windows 8 now. Go to the Charms Bar, click or tap Settings, then click or tap Change PC Settings.

From there, click or tap Users. There you will be given the opportunity to choose between a Microsoft account (using email address and password) or use a Local account. The Local account just uses your user name and password to logon.
