can you copy colors from one piece of text to another in Word?

In a document that I am preparing, some text is automatically colored (email addresses). I want to color some other text that exact same color. Is there some way to do that? I cannot find the right color in the Home | Font tab.
    Thanks, Bob Chapman

    Bob,

Use the Format Painter {paint brush icon}. It will transfer all the formating so you may have to undo some other aspects like bold/underline/font face, size, etc. but you will get the exact color.

Most likely, the email addresses are hyperlinks, with the text in blue & underlined. If so, when these were created, Word stored them as hyperlink fields, which apply more than a simple formatting to them. Clicking on such links opens your email program. If you have other text that should be hyperlinked (eg email addresses, urls), simply pressing the spacebar immediately after them will convert them to working hyperlinks, complete with the text in blue & underlined.

If you have other text that you want to look like a hyperlink (though I don't know why you'd want to do that), simply select it and apply the Hyperlink Style to it.
