    Auto forward to another page (FP 2002)

    I've recently moved my website to another domain and would like to create one of those auto-forward pages that automatically connects one to another page after a set time (say 5 seconds). Can this be done in FrontPage, and if so, how?

    <pre><SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
    window.location.replace ("http://www.myothersite.com/index.htm");
    </script>
    </head></pre>

    (in the head section) will take you there immediately.

    Otherwise, various options and examples here at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://tech.irt.org/articles/js021/>this site</A>

    If scripting is disabled this won't have the desired effect. Yoou could try the following:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Home Page</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=YourURL">
    </head>
    </body>
    </html>

    This will redirect without any scripting.

    I've used this technique before --- but to answer the original poster regarding delay a fixed number of seconds, the 0 after content=" should be changed to the desired delay, for example for five second delay:

    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5; url=YourURL">

    Enjoy!!!???!!!
