    MAKING INPUT MACRO (2000)

ANYONE - PLEASE HELP WITH DIRECTIONS HOW TO MAKE AN INPUT MACRO [Where typing is inserted from the keyboard]. My intentions are to have several words setup in the maco and I wish to insert a date from the keyboard [then possible press the enter key or other operation to continue with the document].

    Thank you

    Hi Rick:

Have you considered using a Fill-in field? It sounds like it might be what you're looking for. Look under Insert/Field & on the right side, Fill-in. You could use something like {fillin d "type date here"} where you want the date.
