    Displaying time per distance (2000)

This should be simple, I just don't know the answer. I have the distance travelled and the time taken to travel. Eg. 18 minutes to do 4 miles = 4:30. I can get it to display 4.5, how do you convert this so it displays 4:30 etc.

    Hi,
Because Excel treats dates/times as numbers and 1 = one day, you'll need to change your formula from
    =18/4
    to
    =18/4/24
to get the hours and format the cell as [h]:mm
    Hope that helps.
