    W7 Pro support USB3?

Do I understand correctly that W7 does not respect USB3 speeds, even though the ports are built right into the motherboard? Thanks!

There is no native support, but if the manufacturer provides Windows 7 drivers, you will be able to use any USB 3 peripheral at USB 3 transfer rates.

Phew!!!-- Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ruirib. I just checked out MSI's website and they do indeed include the USB 3 drivers for W7 with the Mboard.

I can confirm Rui's statement as I have an add on USB 3 card on my Windows 7 desktop and it runs my USB3 external backup drive at USB 3 speeds.
