    Fraps or MSI Afterburner?

I got a chance to return to studying/researching my new build stuff again, (Oh my..., tons and tons of reading). Anyway, I discovered that my MSI graphics card features a software called "Afterburner." Within this utility is a feature that allows for video screen capture. Funny, MSI makes direct declaration to scrap FRAPS, save yourself $37 and go for it. Apparently, anyone can even download it for free! Surely, some of you have tried it, maybe F.U.N.downtown? I'd luv to hear some comparisons, thoughts, insights, etc. about it.

Not I, I wasn't even really aware of it so I'll have to figure a place out in which to try it. I can't imagine it working any better but it might be just as good if like it says, it works on non-MSI card systems as well.

Something I should have done in the first place... Here is a link about the utility itself, and if you scroll down to Video Capture - Predator, one can click on that for more info.

And there's a little more blurbin' on the download page.

What may/may not be of interest to you, F.U.N.downtown, are the possible alternative file formats.
