    Word 2007 VBA to customise status bar - is this possible

    Does anyone know how to programmatically turn on the tick next to an item on the status bar in Word 2007. I am comfortable with Word VBA but can't seem to find out to do this. I have an autoexec macro that I would like to edit to turn on the 'track changes' option on the status bar.
    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Try:
    ActiveDocument.TrackRevisions = True
