    Averaging an Average (97)

Here's the scenario: I have several sections within a survey, we'll call them Section A B and C. Within Section A there are 10 questions (A1-A10), the answers were entered as numbers 1 through 5. I've already gotten an average for each question. Now I also want to come up with an average for the entire section (questions A1-A10) and I'm having a mind-block on how to do it! I just can't seem to come up with the right formula or syntax to find that average. Any assistance would be most appreciated!

If I read this right I think you need to do some sort of grouping by Section so that you view the data by Section rather than individual questions.
