    Flash Player Pro

    Hi,

I get a message every day to upgrade Flash Player Pro. Is anyone familiar with this program? Is it a necessary program?

Thank you. The message says unless I am willing to accept its utilities to speed up my computer, etc., the program will not be installed.

No, not necessary. It's a media player, but not an Adobe product and costs $50. Where do you see the messages about it?

With Moon's second paragraph this almost sounds like one of those scareware apps. At least their tactics are.

It sounds as though you have a trial version of Flash Player Pro installed, which has started to nag you to upgrade to the paid version after 15 days.

Check Control Panel, Programs and Features to see if you can uninstall Flash Player Pro there: Flash Player Pro - Uninstall

Thanks Bruce. I will use Revo Uninstaller Pro to remove Flash Player Pro from my computer. They are really deceptive. The use an emblem very similar to Adobe's to advertise.
