I have inherited several workbooks, a series of 3 graphs are copied from worksheets in the first to sheets in the second as part of report generation. In the macro that copies the data across is the following where the purpose is to make each chart the same size. The code is repeated to size the other 2 charts.

ActiveSheet.DrawingObjects("Chart 1").Select
ActiveSheet.ChartObjects("Chart 1").Activate
Selection.Left = 25
Selection.Width = 222
Selection.Height = 149
Selection.Left = 144
Selection.Width = 93
ActiveWindow.Visible = False

The plots within each chart can be standardized in a similar manner (for presentation purposes) however I have been unable to choose individual chart/plots for scaling with VBA using "Chart 1", "Chart 2" and "Chart 3" as they seem to be assigned other numbers eg 3, 4 and 5. Is there a default Chart naming system that Excel uses so each can be selected in turn or can names be assigned?
