    bypassing start sign in

In January, Fred Langa tols us how to bypass the need to sign in when Win 8 starts. I followed is instructions which worked fine, as long as the computer was starting from being switched off. If it had been 'asleep' when restarting up came the demand for a sign in. Is this normal and is there a way round it?

Go to your "Power Options" in control panel...

    Click on the above circled.

If "don't require a password" is grayed out, go to "change settings that
are currently unavailable". Then make the appropriate changes depicted in my above image.
