    Open without new blank document (2000)

    I was using a setting (a registry tweak I think) to stop word opening with the new blank document ... after having to reinstall, I can't remember the tweak. Can anybody help me out? thanks

    Check out this Technet article, which tells you to use the /n command-line switch and how to create a shortcut to use it:
