Outlook 2003 and 2010 on same PC?

This may sound like a weird request but bear with me...

I've used various versions of Office Professional for many years and am currently using Office 2010 on a fully patched XP SP3 system. One of the UK's cellular service providers (Vodafone) used to offer a feature called Text Centre, which allowed you to send SMS messages directly via Outlook. It was a very widely used and appreciated application, which is no doubt why they discontinued it :-(

The last version of Outlook which supported Text Centre was 2003. Is there any reason (assuming I can find the CD and the product key...) why I shouldn't install this and use it solely for sending texts?

    Many thanks,

    John

You can keep different versions of almost all Office apps, but not Outlook. You can only have one Outlook version installed.
