    Word 2010 spell-check errors

Word 2010's spelling checker objects to perfectly valid phrases "any more" and "some time", and wants to remove the interstitial blank. Since these are not single words, they cannot be added to the custom directory.

Does anyone have any suggestion for how to avoid these combinations being flagged as erroneous?

    Thanks!

Are you sure these are being flagged as spelling errors and not grammar alerts? Spell check displays with red squiggly underscrores; grammar with green.

If they are grammar -- green -- then you can adjust the grammar options to avoid having them flagged.

They are definitely flagged as spelling errors, as I have the same problem when I check spelling without checking grammar. I would also love to find an answer.
