    Check your router's security

Go to GRC's Shields UP! site to check your router's UPnP vulnerability to scanning. Click on the "Proceed" button to get to the router test.

    RR,

    How is this!

Mine did the same thing when I tried to go directly to the web site. When I went to the Shields Up main page I was able to click the Proceed button to go forward.

My router did not respond! Hooray!

Nor did mine. Thanks bbearrean, Roderunner, and Medico for pointing to this router test.

    Hi Ted,

here is the result I got:-

    RR.JPG

This is a surprise, as I know UpNp is turned on in my router as I use Utorrent, but not very often. The only other thing that connects to my router (Netgear DGN2000) is my Laptop.

"we" passed here also. Double hurray because my router is my least understood tools. Had a devil of a time getting it to communicate with Hughes.net when I installed it, so don't want to have to 'fix' it.

    Cheers-- BJ
