    Missing .pst file?

    Hi folks,

My company recently upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007, including Outlook. One of our users had a local .pst file on her machine prior to the upgrade; now that we've upgraded her machine the file is gone.

Would an Outlook upgrade really delete that file? If so, is there any way to recover it, short of doing a system point restore?

    Thanks,

    Beej

Outlook upgrades do not delete files, they never have, in my experience.

Download Everything Search on the client machine. Run Everything and type .pst in the search bar. If the file is on the PC, Everrything will find it.

Thanks Jerry. The file was there, but stupid Windows Search didn't find it. Everything Search found it in <1 minute.
