OL2000 Contacts not showing in Word Address (OL2000)

In OL I have two main entries in my folder list. Each have a Contacts folder (one being under OL Today Pers Folder). When I'm in Word 2000 and Envelope generating, the address dropdown shows two references to "Contacts" -- but one is totally blank. The other contains the list from the non OL Today Pers. Folder. How do I get them both appearing? (btw: check the main contacts folder properties, the OL Address Book tab has a check in the "show this folder as an e-mail address book" but it's dim/recessed).

If you create a new contact folder, do you have the same problem with the checkbox being grayed out?

Also, are you using Corporate/Workgroup mode or Internet E-mail?

Re: OL2000 Contacts not showing in Word Address (OL2000)

I have Outlook in Internet e-mail. The original OL Contacts file shows up as blank when I reference it in Word under Address. I created another OL Contacts file with another set of names, etc., and it shows up fine. Why do they (MS) make this so complicated? It should be simple...just show the contacts!!
