    NonAdjacent print areas (2000)

    I have multiple, non-adjacent rows selected to be my print area. The problem is that excel automatically prints them one on each page. I would like them all to print on one page. Does anyone have any ideas for this? I can't sort the to put them together because the sheet contains references to another sheet.

    There are several things that you can do:

    1- Hide the rows that you do not want to print.

    2- Copy the rows that you do want to print and then go to an empty worksheet. Select "Paste Special" form the Edit menu and click on the "Paste Link" button. Then prnt from this sheet. The negative to this approach is that it will display zero in empty cells. You can get around this by turning of "Display zero values" in Tools/Options on this sheet.

    Your first suggestion is the idea I had been working with. The problem I am having is that my spreadsheet is 75 sheets big and I can't figure out how to easily find the rows that are non-zero (which are what I want to print) and hide the other ones for multple sheets. I can do it on one pretty easy, but it is pretty time consuming to do it for 75 sheets. Your second suggestion isn't probably going to work because of the number of sheets. Thanks

    Here's a macro to hide the empty rows for the entire workbook. HTH --Sam
    <pre>Option Explicit

    Sub UnhideRows()
    Dim s As Worksheet
    For Each s In Worksheets
    s.Rows.Hidden = False
    Next s
    End Sub

    Sub HideEmptyRows()
    Dim myPlace As Object ' Chart or Worksheet
    Dim s As Worksheet
    Dim i As Integer
    Set myPlace = ActiveSheet
    For Each s In Worksheets
    s.Activate
    s.Rows.Hidden = False
    With s.Cells(1, 1).SpecialCells(xlCellTypeLastCell)
    For i = 1 To .Row
    If Cells(i, 1) = "" And _
    Cells(i, 1).End(xlToRight).Column > .Column Then
    Rows(i).Hidden = True
    End If
    Next i
    End With
    Next s
    myPlace.Activate
    End Sub
    </pre>
