Volume Slider for Desktop Side of Windows 8

I'd love to be able to adjust or mute the volume on the desktop side of Windows 8 with just one click. I swear that I've seen little slider widgets that would allow me to do such a thing but after waaay to many hours of searching I've haven't been able to find one.

Does anyone know of anything that might work for me? TIA.

Just 2 click will do it if you choose to allow the volume icon in the taskbar to be shown.
No need for a 3rd party application or widget.

But a keyboard with a volume control and mute button is better.

I like Volumouse v2.00 - Control the sound volume with a wheel mouse

I have it set so that using the wheel anywhere on the task bar changes the volume and displays the percentage at bottom center.
