    Outlook 2003

I have 2 PCs one is used strictly as backup, both have W7 OS's. On the backup PC when I click on Outlook I get a window with the following message.

c:\users\wvasko\appdata\roaming\microsoft\addins\c :1~micros~2\office11addins\outbak.dll is not a valid office add-in (then I get the usual OK-Cancel choice)

I click on OK and it closes that window and then outlook appears to be operating ok. I could not do a copy and paste of the above so I had to write and then type it in here so it might not be exactly right but pretty much so. Any ideas.

    NBB,

Looks like you have a problem with Microsoft's Outlook Personal Folders Backup tool.
Check out this article. You may need to reinstall the tool if the regsrv fix doesn't work. HTH

Well what problem could I possibly have, oh I know "STUPIDITY" even though I was using this as backup I really had not fooled with it for a long time and guess what, I had not installed Personal Folders Backup Tool on the backup PC.

It's amazing how everything falls into place after you install the application. PROBLEM SOLVED.
