    Deleting files on an SSD.

Since it’s a bad idea to defragment a flash drive because it’s a Solid State Device, and I delete some files on a flash drive, do I lose that space where the deleted files were once located?

    Bob,

No you don't loose the space. It will be used when needed. SSDs store data differently than rotating platters. It's all handled by the firmware and you don't need to worry about it. HTH
