I want to print something only on the first page (Access 2000)

How to make visible a control only on the first page

I have a report with a control named " Footbal Leagues". From a button on a form,
i want to give a command to open a report with the command
    DoCmd.OpenReport stDocName, acPreview, , stLinkCriteria

I have an invisible control on the report, called LblFootbal Leagues".
I want to make it visible only for the first page, and all the other 4 copies to be
printed without this heading, i.e. to have the control again invisible.
I have tried many times and with different methods, but i cannot do it with one comand and with one report.
    Can somebody help me?

This may or may not help, but you could create the report with a report header and page header. The report header data will only print on the first page while the page header data is visible on all pages.

    Good luck.

    (It's been a while!)
