How to Display a Blank if Linked Cell is Blank??

Hi, I am linking to a Sharepoint file in my current file. I want to "refresh" this monthly. With that said, when I link to the file and source file contains a blank my destination file displays a "0".

How do I display a "" (NOTHING) if the source file has blanks in it?

A sample cell formula I have is:

    ='[2M Goal.xlsx]1M'!C7:I7

    All help is appreciated.

In (2010) Excel options> Advanced, uncheck "Show a zero in cells that have zero value". Should be similar in other versions
    or
use a conditional formula, ex. The formula in cell B1 =If(A1="","",A1). if A1="" (source) then B1 will evaluate to "" (destination) else B1=A1
