Post BSODs, BC code varies, code 1e, a, and others

Hello everyone. Before I' get into more detail I'll just put the .dmp files first, I know that's what your probably interested in.

Anyways, I've been having a lot of trouble keeping my computer stable. Not matter what driver I am on, stock, new, or old I will always receive a BSOD. It's almost instantaneous when I play Dead Space 3, when I disabled v -sync for more frames, and other games like Skyrim, but this isn't always the case, yet Devil May Cry works flawlessly.

Sometimes When I am using Firefox I will crash rarely. I'm not sure what the problem may be.

Sometimes when I receive an error report the codes given will vary. But usually complains about my drivers. This is extremely annoying.

Right now I'm using 13.2 beta drivers. And I am on Service Pack 1.

    Here are Specs :

    Welcome!

It's all pointing towards the ATI/AMD drivers being at fault, the 0xA0000001 that's cropped up 4x seems to be an internal bugcheck for ATI/AMD drivers.

Uninstall the ATI drivers fully (use Driver Fusion (Driver Sweeper)), reboot and load a different version of drivers to test.

    Hello

Hello, and thank you for the reply, I know I reply Late, school and all that. Anyways, I did crash several times, It seems that Dead Space 3 IS an instantaneous BSOD. I was on other forums and some moderators claimed that It could either be my psu, my gpu, or my motherboard.

It turns out my motherboard does not support 6000x series cards. Still wondering if this is a problem.

    http://us.msi.com/file/test_report/TR1_1926.pdf

My PSU is a Thermal-Take brand.

    Model: TR2 RX-850AH3CH

    http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Po.../dp/B001QXDQB0

I recieved another BSOD right after exiting Black Light Retribution, I received this error.

    BCCode: 1000007e
    BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
    BCP2: FFFFF8800739BCE5
    BCP3: FFFFF88008794378
    BCP4: FFFFF88008793BD0
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 256_1

This was at least 22 hours ago.

I am also going to run Memtest86+ and Prime 95, I was told to other moderators that it could be something else, again they too are not entirely sure. from that forum mentioned that there is not a possible way to check if the error reports are psu related, gpu related, and so on with out hardware swapping.

All 3 dumps point to either ATI or DirectX, with one of those being the internal ATI error.

I think your fastest way forward with this is to swap graphics cards with a friend/colleague for a few days/week, to test your card on a different PC.

I'm not sure about the 'board being incompatible, I didn't think that the 6 series was very different from the 5 series, maybe it only applies to the top end cards, 6950 - 6990? The QVL pdf looks like it's not been updated since the initial release, your BIOS dates to early 2011, much later than the cards listed there.

The PSU may be part of the problem, it doesn't have great reviews, it also splits 12v across 4x rails, maybe it's not feeding enough to the card on a single rail. For a good quality PSU I suggest SeaSonic or XFX, 620W from either of those should be ample.

Clone CD/DVD is a possible interference factor for many BSODs, you can uninstall it to see if it makes any difference.

    thanks, some bsod's

Hey thanks for the reply. I'll try to see if I can switch gpus and my psus with my friend. I'm pretty sure it's the psu.

Seems that Dead Space 3 does not want to cooperate with me.\

Uninstalling Clone CD/DVD didn't do much unfortunately.

    Reformat

Since I really couldn't find the source of the problem, I decided to reformat my hard drive.
After I reformatted, I installed ati drivers, and I was just playing a flash game for a bit, I was waiting for my game to download in utorrent.
    A good 10 - 15 minutes I crash.

The RealTek network card driver needs updating (it caused the last crash): http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

Don't install any motherboard or graphics card 'utilities' or overclock anything (traces of a MSI Afterburner driver - known BSOD issues with Windows 7 - also found to be a part of MSI Live Update 5, in one of the last BSODs before formatting).

You could try installing the ATI drivers 'clean', without any catalyst or other fluff: http://www.sysnative.com/forums/wind...procedure.html

    Sure

Sure, right now I was using radeon pro and Dead Space 3 crashed anyway, I'll see if downloading the realtek drivers will cure the problem. I really appreciate your help. This pc is nothing but trouble.
