    Question Updating Adobe Active X

Okay, I'm stuck. I've downloaded and updated Adobe Flash Player to the latest version, but Secunia PSI is still telling me I have to update Adobe Flash Player (Active X) as shown in first screenshot. A second screenshot shows the Adobe programs listed under the Control Panel's Programs and Features in case that helps solve the mystery. I seem to remember in the past you had to delete old Adobe files when installing updates, but the ones listed all look new.

    Any suggestions appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Linda

It looks like you have downloaded and installed the latest version for Other Browsers (Plugin), but not for Internet Explorer (ActiveX)

They should both be 11.6.602.171 released 02/26/2013:

    Red face Thanks!

Thank you, Bruce. I did not realize that ActiveX meant for Internet Explorer (or that Plugin in was for other browsers). What a simple thing but how great to know it ... now! I followed your link, selected the ActiveX and the update now matches the Plugin in Programs and Features.

I really appreciate your help and that explanation about just what Active X is.

    Happily,

    Linda
