    Folders keep collapsing

We just switched to IMAP/gmail server for two of our accounts. These two accounts always show up as collapsed when I open Outlook 2007 or 2010 (see attached). Which means I have to click to open up the folders and subfolders. A minor irritant. Is there a way to prevent the folders from collapsing?

    thanks.

Outlook 2010 is supposed to remember which folders were expanded when it is closed. Unfortunately, IMAP accounts don't conform to this. See Starting Outlook with all folders collapsed/expanded for more details and a VBA work around.

    Thanks.
Macro expanded waaay too much. Will learn to live with the IMAP limitations.
