    OK, I see. This change effects IE 10 Metro edition. I had not realized IE 10 Metro did not have Flash. Flash has been enabled by default in the Desktop Edition from the release date.

    The biggest reason I do not use the IE 10 Metro edition is the lack of support for any other add-ons. I use Last Pass extensively as well as ad blocking add-ons and none of these presently work in IE 10 Metro style.

    It also includes IE10 both immersive (Metro) & desktop on a Windows RT machine.
