Is there a difference between Excel 2007 & 10 re: this function

A friend who uses Excel 2010 sent me a workbook. I use Excel 2007.
On 1 sheet I get #NAME? in all the cells.

The formula that fails in 2007 is:

    =_xlfn.COVARIANCE.P('Daily Returns'!B4:B254,'Daily Returns'!$B4:$B254)/_xlfn.VAR.P('Daily Returns'!$B4:$B254)

Can anyone help me with the resolution?

    Thanks,
    Dick

    PS,
That formula works for him in Excel 2010.
