    Catalyst Control Center

I have installed the Cataylist software for my video card and it doesn't work.

I have several versions installed from the past and today I got the latest version and installed that.

I had disabled it in the past because of a error message I kept getting..See attached screen shot..

Anyway, I would like to un-install it and get rid of all the old stuff but when I try to un-install it, it wants to un-install the drivers also.

My question is this..If I un-install it with the drivers will my monitor stop working or will Windows use a default generic driver so my monitor will work until I re-install the software again????

Windows will either install the default driver or the ATI driver if it finds it.
Aguide for uninstalling ATI drivers can be found here:

Note the caution if you have an AMD motherboard

    Thanks..I'll check it out.
I figured it would use a windows driver but wanted to make sure.
I have a ASUS motherboard..No on board graphics.

No RR, not even sure what that is.
But, like I said, it's working fine now with the older version..

WEI has no bearing on whether a program will run.

Like I said, it's now working...

To show my appreciation for all your suggestions I'll have Ted stop by your house in his new motor home and mow your lawns..
