Cool Resolving Gdiplus.dll issues and disappearance

Anyone here know how to reinstall gdiplus.dll? I have tried a half dozen options, including those from the Windows 7 support services at MSN but it never works. I keep getting a messagwe that says gidplus.sll is missing but I know it is there! Thanks for any help!!!

Use the regsvr32 command in the run box to register the dll in question.
Include the precise pathway to the file in question.

    example:
    regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\myfile.dll
If that does not work, completely uninstall the application it is associated with, clean the registry of it's leftovers, then reinstall.
If the file in question is an operating system file, close all open applications and run a SFC /SCANNOW from an elevated command prompt.
