Office rofessional trial over but cannot remove to instal HOME AND Student

G'day and Happy Easter to all.

Bought a HP proBook 4530s and it as loaded with Windows 7 and a trial copy of Office Professional.

The trial is now over so I tried to load Office Home and Student 2010.

Started DVD and was asked for Product Key - that wa validated and everything seemed ok but when i try to open Office Professional is still there and Home and Student is not.

Searcher to find how to remove Office Professional and tried appwiz.cpl but can see Office Home and Student but not Office Professional

can you advise me how to uninstal Office Professional so that i can use Office Home and Student which i have purchased

    appreciate your guidance

    peter

Look in Programs and Features in Control Panel. You may have to uninstall the trial version before installing the lower level Home and Student version. If this is the case, uninstall the Home and Student version first, then the Pro version Trial.

You might also try Revo Uninstaller for this chore.
