    When saving Word doc as PDF, it does not open in Acrobat

    I have Word 2007 and Acrobat X, both updated and current; using Win 7 also updated and current. When saving a Word docx file as PDF, it would open automatically in Acrobat. About a week ago, it stopped opening in Acrobat. The PDF is created with no problem, but will not open in Acrobat automatically like it did before. Have looked in Word and Acrobat menus/etc for something that triggers this action but no joy.

    Is PDF still associated with Adobe Acrobat at Control Panel, Default Programs, Associate a file type or protocol with a program?

    In the Save As PDF dialog of Word 2007, there is an option at the bottom, "Open file after publishing". Is that checked?
