    Hi Loungers,
Does the button in my image serve any other purpose than making the cursor appear in the 'Quick Reply' box. ?

It's simply a shortcut, spares you from having to scroll down to the quick reply box.

In some circumstances, it may open the reply text box (the one you get when clicking Go Advanced). It just did for me, but I am not sure when it does one or the other.

The one I was asking about is on top of the 'Quick Reply' box as in my image.
To reply to you, I clicked 'Reply with Quote' and the +Reply to Thread moved to:-

Exactly the same here using FF 20.0.1

Clicking on the reply to thread button (as per the screenshot in post #1) inserts the cursor about 1 inch below where the mouse pointer is where you can click anyway!

I guess you'd have to take that one to the VBulletin designers...

I don't really know, just evaluating this on face value, but it is possible that there are boards where Quick Reply hasn't been activated, so the button in question would take you to the Advanced reply window...

    Hi Rui,
I use the Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls in General Settings. Maybe you don't or the Lounge is displayed differently for Mods & Admin staff.
