System restore for system reserved partition?
I'm trying to troubleshoot an intermittent HDD freeze (see other post) and have noticed that System Restore is active for my Acer PQSERVICE system reserved partition (this may not have any bearing on my HDD problem).
I can't see why I would need this on for a partition that only serves to restore C: in the event of a meltdown. Can I just turn off system restore for this partition?
Also, strangely, if I click Configure, it says that the current disk space being used is 385 mb and the max is set at 5% (700 mb). I can't figure out what the 5% refers to, since the partition itself is only 100 mb and the HDD is 500 gb.
