Need Help PLEASE --- how to uninstall ie10 and kb2670838

    I am not very technical.

Yesterday via Windows Update I installed IE10 and KB2670838. My PC is at a crawl. Apparently this is a known problem.

What is the best way to uninstall these? Especially since the kb update changed my drivers.

I have never rolled back a PC.

    I have 2 choices NOW:

    1) Uninstall the Microsoft updates one at a time OR

    2) Go back to a restore point

When I do a scan for affected progarms in restore point ... I get a list of things that may not work correctly. Including IE9. Any suggestions?

    To uninstall IE 10:
Click on the “Start” button and type “Programs and Features” in the search box.
Click on the “View installed updates” in the left pane of the menu.
Go over to the “Uninstall an update” screen and scroll down to the “Microsoft Windows” section.
Select Internet Explorer 10 and click “Uninstall.

If you want to uninstall kb2670838, follow the same procedure and select it rather than IE10.

Uninstall IE10 first then KB2670838, follow those up by blocking the reinstall of IE10 using this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=36512
