    desktop shortcuts

    Hi

Every so often several of my desktop shortcuts disappear.

Can anyone tell me why and help me stop this happening?

    Thanks

Hi macali, and welcome to the Lounge!

Are the shortcuts that disappear ones that you use frequently, or shortcuts that you seldom use?

Windows 7 has a clean up routine to remove shortcuts that are it thinks are no longer valid. What sort of shortcuts are disappearing?
