    PCWorld.com subscription box removal?

    Hey Y'all,

This thing is driving me crazy, guess that should be more crazy.

On my desktop it's no problem I just hit the close button and it's gone.
On my laptop, see pic, fully scrolled to the right I can't get over far enough to see the darned thing! It just stays there and as you scroll through an article it of course hides some of the text effectively reducing the screen readable height so I have to scroll more to read.

I'm using FF 20.0.1 w/ABP, FLashBlock, Privacy Fix, No-Script. This is all on Win 7 HP SP-1 fully updated.

    Ideas?

I hate those subscribe pop ups as well. I see them on a couple of sites I visit. The preview window for the popup should show up on the Taskbar stack for your browser when you hover the mouse over it. Hover over the popup preview window and you can then click on the red x there to close it.

Try holding down the [Ctrl] key while tapping the [-] (Minus) key a few times. Hopefully that will decrease the size enough for you to be able to see and click the "close button" on the popup.

Use [Ctrl][+] (plus) to increase the size, or [Ctrl][0] (zero) to reset.
