Out of Office Assistant (Outlook 98/Windows NT 4.0)

We have a user with Outlook 98 on a Windows NT 4.0 network. Her Out of Office Assistant isn't working.

She can get the dialogue box from her Tools Menu and insert the Out of Office message but no one receives it.

She checks Out of the Office. Types in a message. Clicks Ok. But nothing happens.

Further, the next time she logs in to Outlook, it asks if she wants to turn off the Out of Office Assistant. However, when she receives emails, the senders never receive her Out of Office message.

I hope this is clear. We have no idea what to try. Any ideas???? Thanks.

Does the Out of Office assistant work if someone else logs on to her computer and tries it (as them)? If it does work, you may want to make Outlook (not Exchange) create a new profile for her. Let me know if you need instructions for creating the new profile.

    Hope this helps!
