Want Blu-Ray player: Should it have browser?

I'm not sure where to post this message! I want to buy a blu-ray player and I'm puzzled about the difference between the blu-ray players that do and those that do not have a browser. If I want to look at a past episode of Survivor on my PC I would go to CBS.com and look for it there. Will I be able to do that for my TV if I buy a blu-ray player that has Internet access but does not have a browser? In that case am I stuck with only the places like Hulu that are listed for that player? On the other hand, does Hulu or some other similar site contain all the old episodes of popular TV shows?

    Thanks,
    Bill

Capabilities of BluRay players to be Internet content delivery services probably vary widely. What I usually advise is keep it simple, get a BluRay player just for playing BluRay and get something like the Roku box for streaming.

    Thanks for your comments.

I was hoping that someone would chime in with some answers to my questions. I'll keep watching in case they still do that.

    Thanks,
    Bill
