I just upgraded to Windows XP. I reformatted my hard drive and installed it "clean". A spectacular success, but I had to reinstall all of my S/W including Office 2000. Now I can't remember how to set the e-mail equivalent of Normal.dot. I use Word 2000 as my e-mail editor. I've tried about everything I can think of including editing something called e-mail.dot but the new blank e-mail still comes up with a style that uses my name over which I have no known control and can't see in Word and can't edit in Outlook. I want to change at least the characteristics of that &*#$@ style but believe I should have control over the whole default template. The WOPR book Special Edition Using Microsoft Office 2000 is of no use - they don't address e-mail templates at all.
