    Scatter Chart X Axis Problem

I wanted to create a scatter chart to show dot value for each record. I expect the x axis to show 4 category names: 6-5, 6-4, 6-3 and 6-2. Currently it shows some numbers. Can someone teach me how to fix that? Please see example in the attachment.

    Thank you!

I think the easiest way would be to replace the "-" to make the categories the numbers 65, 64, 63, and 62. Then add a custom format of (no brackets) [0"-"0] to display as 6-5 to 6-2, but plot all of them in individual lines.

Still have problem on large data

    Steve,

That's a really good way to solve the problem! I tested it and it worked. However, when I tried to apply a larger amt of data to the chart, it looks funny again. Please see attached file.

I also wanted to have a certain order for the X-Axis (from left to right)
    6-5, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2, 6-1, 5-4, 5-3, 5-2, 5-2, 4-2, 4-1
    Is it achievable?

Thanks a lot for your help!

You have to adjust the Min/Max as desired and the major unit. Also plot in reverse order. It does leave "gaps" due to the XY scaling desired
