Maybe tell us what exactly you are doing. Is the file open in Outlook already?

I exported the Calendar.pst file using the Import/Export Wizard from my desktop PC to a file named Calendar.pst on a flash drive. I connected the flash drive to my notebook and tried to use the Import/Export Wizard to import the Calendar.pst file. Instead of importing it as it has done many many times I got the popup dialog saying ---
“This Personal Folder file (.pst) is already in use in the current profile”. Both PCs run Win 7 Ultimate and Outlook 2007.

Maybe you already have a file with the same name connected to that Outlook instance?

I'm not sure I understand your question. I use the Import and Export Wizard and select the Calendar.pst file on the flash drive to import. Nothing else is connected (I think).

I want to thank you for making me think. I found a stub file in outlook Data Files. After I deleted it all is well!

    Thanks again
